Vincenzo's literally 20 steps from my door. Cadet's Caribbean Restaurant [brand new Haitian restaurant around the corner]. I'm not sure how Neon Coffee Shop is recorded as the closest coffee shop to my place [at almost 2 miles], when in the morning, i can smell muffins baking through my bedroom walls from "Scrumdelicious", the coffee shop i share a wall with... [you must try one of their "eggburgers"]... Gerry [the owner] is a friendly, hardworking, guy... we both moved into our respective locations within a couple of month of each other... and have been good neighbours ever since....

he has a fun crowd of newfie regulars who religiously frequent the place [they humour me when i'm in their midst... but i accept that fact that i'm not one of theirs]... and, often, i can hear the playing of singers and songwriters flowing through my walls.

wii... the nonsense that is

i was an obsessive gamer when i destroyed my thumb on an Atari 2600 around my 14th birthday.

but i truly lost touch with the "console world of games" soon after... the pc variety further failed to capture my attention also.

sega, atari, nintendo, colecovision, ps1/2/3, gamecube [my boys love it], n64 [they liked that one too], gameboy, gameboy color {colour}, DS, DS lite, DS-"who gives a shit"... DS-"mario sucks"... DS-"luigi? definately sucks", xbox [ok... halo is cool... but it is a derivative of a mac classic "marathon"]

enter the wii... nonsensical fun... and notable time waster.

i can't get enough.
